Resting at the feet of the Magaliesburg Mountain Range, in beautiful S. Africa, our cherry farms are uniquely situated at 5000ft. At this altitude, we are one of the earliest Southern Hemisphere cherry producers in the world, harvesting cherries for our customers to enjoy in October.
The J.O. Sims orchards in Washington and Canada combine arid dry days drenched in sunshine with the power of the mighty Columbia River to produce some of the worlds finest fresh sweet cherries.
Stemilt is owned and operated by the Mathison’s, who are in their sixth generation of farming in central Washington. We love what we do and put a lot of emphasis on relationships with others. We grow our beautiful sweet cherries in orchards on the banks of the General Carrera Lake in Patagonia, next to a National Park and surrounded by the most pristine nature, where the air is clean & fresh and the water is pure.
