At J O Sims we are continually working to reduce our carbon footprint. As well as working on many energy saving projects, we have also been investigating ways of generating the electricity we need. We have now completed a large 230KW solar panel installation on the roof of our Spalding facility. Working closely with our contractors, architects, and engineers, the installation took 8 weeks to complete. In favourable conditions we now generate up to 50% of our electricity consumption from on site solar.
